Our client is creating an innovative new game, merging mobile gaming with mindfulness. This project is fun, meaningful, and driven by cutting-edge technology.

You’ll be part of a small, dynamic team, working closely with the founders in their Soho, London office.

As Mobile Game Designer, you’ll lead the design and development of a mobile game that integrates mental health with engaging gameplay.

You’ll work with the founders and a top-tier team of engineers, artists, and creators to develop captivating experiences.

  • Design Engaging Gameplay: Conceptualize, prototype, and refine game mechanics and player experiences.
  • Develop Game Loops: Create core loops, reward systems, and progression paths to ensure long-term player engagement.
  • Drive Product Vision: Turn bold ideas into playable, shippable gameplay.
  • Data-Driven Design: Utilize playtesting, analytics, and player feedback to perfect the game experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineers, artists, and producers from concept to launch.
  • Focus on Well-Being: Ensure the game promotes mental wellness and inclusivity.

Qualifications

  • Experienced Game Designer: 3+ years in designing mobile game mechanics, systems, and progression paths.
  • Expert in Game Loops: Strong understanding of player psychology and habit-forming gameplay.
  • Creative Storyteller: Craft character-driven experiences that immerse players.
  • Data-Informed Designer: Use player feedback, playtesting, and analytics to enhance the player experience.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Excellent at inspiring and aligning teams.
  • Technically Savvy: Work with engineers to ensure design feasibility.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with subscription-based games or direct-to-consumer products.
  • Background in mental wellness, mindfulness, or fitness apps.
  • Expertise in creating emotionally rich, character-driven gaming experiences.
