DUNDEE, SCOTLAND HYBRID
Based in Dundee, Scotland, this independent game development studio take pride in crafting fun, memorable experiences for all ages, and are on the lookout for talent to join them on current and future projects, across PC, Console and Mobile.
They are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Generalist Programmer to support their development teams. They’re looking for someone who is confident in developing and improving low-level systems; who takes an active interest in improving the efficiency and productivity of their team; and who has demonstrable experience in multi-platform game development using Unreal Engine.
This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role. Applicants should have current eligibility to work in the UK and be within travelling distance of Dundee, Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating and improving gameplay and platform systems to meet project requirements
Working with technical and non-technical team members to improve tools and workflow
Managing engine and app builds
Updating and maintaining SDK integrations
Supporting the development of new gameplay features and content
Requirements:
Experience in games or software development
At least one shipped multi-platform product
Proficient in C++
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Working knowledge of Unreal Engine, particularly the build pipeline
Experience with tools design and usability
Desirable:
Experience developing for mobile and current generation console platforms
Experience with C#, Java, Python and Batch scripting.

This role is based in Dundee, hybrid working, so applicants must be prepared to spend time in the studio. You must also have current eligibility to work in the UK, no Visa sponsorship is available.
